On Monday night the 6th May, CGSAV competed at the Victorian Schools Association Competition. This competition is with every school association in Victoria. To qualify we had to be the fastest in our age groups to be then selected to represent the CGSAV association. It was a great experience to make new friends from other schools within our association and work together to swim well. We came away with many firsts, seconds and thirds, and at the end of the night, we were announced third overall in the girls' competition. This is the highest we have ever placed and it was so exciting. From the first year I was selected in this team it was so great to see our team grow, form new friendships and finish higher at this competition than ever before. I also want to thank Steve and Dom for all the work they do behind the scenes, we are so grateful for the opportunities and effort have given us and for cheering us all on! I am so proud of everyone who competed this year and can’t wait to see everyone continue swimming either outside of the school or for CGSAV.
