2025 VSAC Swimming Captains Report

Last night’s Victorian Schools Association Competition (VSAC) was an incredible event, and a great way to wrap up the swim season. Although it was a long night, the 18 students who represented CGSAV swam exceptionally well and showed great spirit throughout the competition.
As this was my final VSAC, being in Year 12, I couldn’t be prouder of how everyone performed and supported one another. It’s been amazing to be part of this team, and I’m truly impressed by the effort and enthusiasm shown by all our swimmers.
A big thank you to Mr McCartney (MSJ), Mr McGrath (Killester), Mrs Murton (St Columba's) and Mrs Roberts (CLC), who came out to help and support us, it really means a lot to us all. Also, huge appreciation to the parents in the grandstand for cheering us on all night! And finally, an extra special thank you to Domenic Scarpino for all the time and effort put into the event. None of it would have run so smoothly without you!
